Delicate shades of blue. I love hydrangeas. The dark background gives the whole painting a wonderful old Flemish flavour.

These hydrangeas are just as lovely as the ones from your older post somewhere, Donna, really beautiful! Among my most favourite flowers too, especially those that keep their blue colour. Mine turn a deep pink because of the soil.
And for a few minutes I relaxed with your music, right at the end of your blog...what a neat idea, the first time I notice it!
And everytime I want to compliment you on your lovely profile pic(or maybe I have already?)

Thank you Ronell.....

As for your hydrangeas...ahhhhh...pink are beautiful as well; very romantic.

The music is something I recently added. Eva Cassidy has such a stunning voice and is always a pleasure to listen to.

Also, thank you for your sweet comment about the photo...it was taken in Fiesole a couple of years ago.

@LSaeta

I am glad you found me too...since I'm introduced to your work for the first time as well!

I like your paintings, they are very vibrant and expressive! I have always wanted to try to paint with a palette knife............one day.

Thanks for visiting and I appreciate your kind comments.
